29th Operation Holiday Hope Outreach
Operation Holiday Hope is a much anticipated highlight for the kids here and at our bases around the world.
But it’s also one of our most powerful evangelism events because of the impact on the kids as well as their families.
When you take part in our Operation Holiday Hope outreach, you’re giving so much more than just a gift … you’re putting HOPE in the hearts of kids who desperately need that anchor for the soul in this world.
So many kids are living in spiritual darkness with no hope, no future, and worse, no concept that anyone else sees, knows or even cares what they’re going through. When the Light of the Gospel enters their world, the Holy Spirit plants HOPE in their own hearts and the kids carry that Light to their homes and communities: the FIRE of the FOOTPRINT!
Thanks to friends like you who have partnered with Metro World Child over the years, the children we reach are growing up in discipleship. This is not a one-time deal. They are hearing the teaching of the Bible week after week, consistently. They are developing a spirit that’s different from the world around them. They have hope.
We have a goal to reach 1 000,000 kids this Christmas season with the message of God’s love. But what we see time and again, whether we are picking up kids for Sunday School in New York, standing in a classroom of kids in Kenya, or pulling up with the truck by the cemetery in the Philippines, it all comes down to ONE. Every one of these kids feels like the Metro team has come just for them. They feel loved. They feel special. They want to share what they’re going through at home or at school.
