It is truly an amazing sight. It’s the ONE time of the week that the kids feel loved, feel safe, and able to laugh and sing. They feel valued. They hear about JESUS, then LIGHT in the midst of their darkness . . . and learn that God SEES them and knows them.

Nearly every single one of them shows up with their own bowl and spoon in hand, because at the end of Sunday School, we always make sure they can fill up with a hot meal.

The look on their faces as the food is ladled into their bowls is really something. They’re not used to seeing plenty.

Going where hope is needed most — because truly . . . EVERY CHILD MATTERS!
